Hong Kong BN(O) Migrants Panel Survey 

The Hong Kong BN(O) Migrants Panel Survey is a collaborative effort between University College London, King’s College London, and the University of Oxford. This 3-year panel survey aims to understand the experiences and needs of BN(O) migrants in the UK.

The first wave of the study was conducted last summer and successfully interviewed 2,200 BN(O) Hong Kongers.  The second wave of the survey will start from 16 June 2025. The survey is by invitation only, so please check email inboxes on Monday to see if you have been invited.

📢 The three-year Hong Kong BN(O) Migrants Panel Survey conducted by University College London (UCL), King’s College London (KCL), and the University of Oxford is coming back!  Last year, we have interviewed about 2,200 BN(O) migrants. 

The second wave of the survey will be conducted from June 16, 2025. Our research partner Ipsos will send out survey invitations on our behalf. Please check your mailbox and don’t miss the chance to participate in this meaningful survey – your continuous participation can help us find new ways to make life better for BN(O) Migrants in the UK

Hong Kong BN(O) No Recourse to Public Funds Survey – Report 

The Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Hub developed a survey in January 2025 to find out more about British National (Overseas) (BN(O)) experiences of No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). The high-level findings of this survey are available in this report: NRPF Survey Report. This includes data around levels of awareness of NRPF, Change of Conditions and entitlements of respondents.
